Dugarsürengiin Dawaadschaw ( Mongolian Жамцын Даваажав ; born June 28, 1953 in Teshig ; † 2000 ) was a Mongolian wrestler .

Career

Dugarsürengiin Dawaadschaw appeared at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal in the Greco-Roman style welterweight , but could not win a medal. Two years later, he won the bronze medal at the Asian Games in Bangkok . At the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow , he was able to win the silver medal in freestyle wrestling in the welterweight division .

Dawaajaw took part in three world championships ( 1977 , 1979 , 1981 ), but could never win a medal.
