Duas Igrejas is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
Duas Igrejas is part of the Vila Verde county in the Braga district . The community had an area of 14.3 km² and 1292 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the communities of Duas Igrejas, Rio Mau , Goães , Godinhaços , Pedregais , Azões and Portela das Cabras were merged to form the new community of União das Freguesias da Ribeira do Neiva . Duas Igrejas is the seat of this newly formed community.
