The Dublanc River is a river on the west coast of Dominica . It runs near the northern border of the Parish Saint Peter and flows into the Caribbean Sea in Dublanc in the Anse Mulatre .
geography
The Dublanc River rises on the northern flank of the Morne Les Resources at approx. 1000 m above sea level . Another northerly source river rises even higher to approx. 1200 m ( ⊙ , on the border with Parish St. Joseph ). Initially, both streams run in a north-westerly direction to the Syndicate plateau . There it turns more towards the west (west of the Syndicate Estate ) and runs in a winding course along the southern edge of the small plain, before it turns west and even slightly south and flows into the Caribbean Sea after a course in the deep valley near Dublanc . The Dublanc River receives some small tributaries. A notable tributary is the Fond Pie River and other streams from the area of Fond Pie ( ⊙ ), the area in which the Lagoon River rises. More streams flow in from the left and south, one of the smaller just above the local area of Dublanc.
In addition to the already mentioned Lagoon River in the south, the Espagnole River , which forms the border to the Parish St. John over a long distance , with its tributaries is the northern neighbor. In the lower reaches, the catchment area borders on the catchment area of the Amadis River , which runs south of the Morne Espagnole (365 m).
