Declaime

Declaime or Dudley Perkins is an American rapper (as Declaime) and R&B singer (as Dudley Perkins).

Career (as Declaime)

Declaime began in 1987 to rap and was originally a member of the Likwit crew to King Tee . As such, he made his first appearance on the album Coast II Coast of Alkaholiks well and was on Lootpacks Sound Pieces heard. His first solo release was an EP produced by Madlib in 1999 - just like Declaime's first album Andsoitissaid , which was released in 2001. In 2004 he finally released the album Conversations with Dudley , which linked his two musical identities, Declaime and Dudley Perkins (see below).

Career (as Dudley Perkins)

Together with Quasimoto, Madlib's alter ego , he recorded the song Flowers, which contains elements of acid jazz, as singer Dudley Perkins . This caught the attention of Peanut Butter Wolf , who then signed him for his record label Stones Throw Records . There he released his two albums A Lil 'Light and Expressions .
