Georgia Anne Muldrow

Georgia Anne Muldrow (* 1983 ) is an American singer and R&B musician .

Georgia Anne Muldrow is the daughter of jazz musician Ronald Muldrow and singer Rickie Byars . She grew up in Los Angeles and then moved to New York . In 2005 she recorded her first EP Worthnothings and released it on her own. As a result, Peanut Butter Wolf from the Stones Throw Records label became aware of her, who signed her for two albums. In 2006 her EP was re-released and her first album Olesi: Fragments of an Earth was released. In 2007 the album Sagala was released under the name Pattie Blingh and the Akebulan Five and in 2009 the album Umsindo under her own name . Other albums such as Kings Ballad followed; in particular, Vweto II (2019) received a lot of critical attention. She made several productions with her husband, rapper Dudley Perkins . She can also be heard on productions by Erykah Badu , Miles Davis / Robert Glasper and Joe Armon-Jones and has also published under the pseudonyms Jyoti and Ms.One .
