The Duece River ( Douce River ) is a small river in northern Dominica in the Parish Saint Andrew .
geography
The Duece River rises in the lowlands, at about 180 m above sea level , from the same aquifer as the neighboring Belibu River to the west . It turns east more than this, passes Fond Hodge , Coquin and then runs north along the Middle Ridge . Shortly before it flows into the Atlantic Ocean in the Bay of Calibishie , it takes in a small tributary from Savane Paille from the left and west. The catchment area of the Mamelabou River (Hodges River) connects to the east of the headwaters . The river is about 3.5 km long. Other nameless streams flow into Calibishie Bay. The closest named creek to the east is the Salec River .
