The Salec River ( Sallée River ) is a small river in northern Dominica in the Parish Saint Andrew .

geography

The Salec River has its source in the Coquin area at approx. 110  m above sea level . It runs north and turns west on the coast south of the Red Rocks . From Coquin and the Middle Ridge , several small streams flow to it from the left and southwest. In Calibishie it flows into the Atlantic . The catchment area of ​​the Mamelabou River (Hodges River) connects to the east . The river is about 3.1 km long. Other nameless streams flow into Calibishie Bay. The closest named creek to the west is the Duece River .
