Duncan Faure

Duncan Faure (born December 16, 1956 in Pretoria , South Africa ) is a South African musician , singer and songwriter .

Duncan became known in the mid-1970s as the lead singer of the South African rock band Rabbitt . He was the lead singer with the Scottish band Bay City Rollers from 1978 to 1981 and recorded three albums with her. In 1987 he contributed the song “24 Hours” to the soundtrack Who's That Girl of the Madonna film of the same name “Who's That Girl” .

In 1997, he married Laurie McClain a year after joining Duncan's band The First World Band as a percussionist . They have a son and a daughter.
