The Duo Piti is a dance and acrobatic duo from Hanover .
history
The name "Piti" is made up of the first names of the two artists Pierre Büchner (born November 30, 1993) and Timo Gödeke (born March 25, 1993). Both grew up in Ahlten near Hanover. Pierre Büchner was born with gymnastics. His father, Ralf Büchner , achieved the world title in gymnastics on the horizontal bar in 1991 . Timo Gödeke started with acrobatics when he was 8 years old .
In summer 2012 they both decided to train together in Hanover-Badenstedt after a vacation together . In November 2014 the show Happy was performed for the first time in front of an audience under the name "Duo Piti". It was followed by other appearances at major events, galas and on television.
In the summer of 2015, the duo Piti won the ProSieben casting show Got to Dance as “Germany's Best Dance Act”. As a duo they showed choreographies between two men, something previously unseen on German television. In October 2015 they appeared as guest stars at Circus Roncalli . Together with the Feuerwerk der Turnkunst ensemble , the duo Piti went on a tour of Germany with the Imagine tour in early 2016 . In summer 2017 they made their theatrical debut at the GOP Varieté-Theater Hannover with the show Metropolitan. With their performances of dance and acrobatics, they can now be seen on stage and in television productions across Europe.
