Duria eG
The Duria eG is the only cooperative organized software house of the doctors . It is located in Düren , North Rhine-Westphalia .
The name "VILLA DURIA" was the earlier name of the city of Düren at the time of Emperor Charlemagne . But Duria stands for D atenverarbeitung U nd R echensysteme I n A rztpraxen.
Duria develops and maintains practice management software (PVS) and a doctor information system (AIS).
Duria eG currently has over 3924 members (as of 10/2019), exclusively doctors - in 2153 practices. She has maintained the text-based practice EDV system DURIA since 1993 and the graphic version DURIA2 since 2010 . At the beginning, the cooperative used the AMIS list of preparations maintained by the Central Institute of the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KBV) until this list was no longer available. Now the also advertising-free list from MMI is used.
The care of the medical practices is guaranteed by Duria Support Centers (DSC).
The focus of EDP software development is on practice, laboratory and clinic outpatient management. In recent years Duria eG has been involved in developments in the field of telematics and telemedicine as well as transmission technologies ( D2D = Doctor To Doctor) and KV-SafeNet .

Duria is "ad-free" and certified in accordance with the Drug Supply Economy Act ( AVWG and AMNOG ).
The chairman of the board of the cooperative founded in 1989 is Erich Gehlen (representative: Ulrich Driessen), chairman of the supervisory board is Wolfgang Deiters.
