The Dynjandisvogur is a small cove in the Westfjords of Iceland .
The river Dynjandisá flows into it below the Dynjandifoss or Fjallfoss waterfall . This bay is about 1.5 km wide and extends 2 km into the country. Borgarfjörður lies north of Dynjandisvogur . Both together form the 15 km long northern part of Arnarfjörður , but unlike the Suðurfirðir, they have no name of their own. Vestfjarðavegur runs
to Ísafjörður on the north bank of the bay .
