The Dynjandisá is a river in the southern West Fjords of Iceland .

Most important dates

The average amount of water in summer is 2–8 m³ / sec., In winter 1–4 m³ / sec. The highest amount of water measured so far was 10 m³ / sec.

Dynjandisá is known for the fan-shaped waterfall Dynjandi (also known as Fjallfoss ). A few other smaller waterfalls follow the short downhill stretch down to the fjord and the mouth: Háifoss (Dynjandisá), Úðafoss, Göngufoss, Hundafoss, Bæjarfoss.

Below the Dynjandi is the abandoned farm of the same name near the mouth of the Dynjandisvogur bay , part of the Arnarfjörður (Westfjords) .
