EFSIX at the German handicapped sailing championship 2005 on the Großer Brombachsee .

The EFSIX is an open sailing boat built in 1975 that can accommodate up to five people. The keelboat has a lifting keel and is usually made of GRP using a round frame construction.

use

The EFSIX is sailed in Germany and the Netherlands.

At the national level, the boat is used in North Rhine-Westphalia in addition to the 2.4mR in disabled sports, as it is almost unsinkable due to the foamed double hull.

Due to the flat cockpit floor and the arched foredeck, the EFSIX 2000 is quite spacious, which also makes it a popular traveling dinghy.

The boat is being built by a Dutch shipyard in Heeg.

Classification of the boat

The EFSIX class association has submitted an application for approval as a unit class to the German Sailing Association .
