EURES
EURES stands for EUR opean E mployment S ervices and is a Europe-wide network founded in 1993 that promotes intra-European mobility in the labor market across borders. The network's partners include public employment services, trade unions and employers' associations. The network is coordinated by the European Commission .
tasks
The tasks of EURES include the following elements:
- Advice and information for employees about job opportunities, working and living conditions in Europe ( EU / EEA / Switzerland )
- Help employers recruit labor
- Special advice for employers and employees in border regions
The EURES portal for looking for and offering jobs is available in 25 official EU and EEA languages and can be used free of charge by both job seekers and employers.

The Europe-wide network is divided into transnational cooperation between the 28 EU states, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein and the EFTA state Switzerland and into regional EURES border partnerships. There are currently 22 such collaborations:
