EURES

EURES stands for EUR opean E mployment S ervices and is a Europe-wide network founded in 1993 that promotes intra-European mobility in the labor market across borders. The network's partners include public employment services, trade unions and employers' associations. The network is coordinated by the European Commission .

tasks

The tasks of EURES include the following elements:

  • Advice and information for employees about job opportunities, working and living conditions in Europe ( EU / EEA / Switzerland )
  • Help employers recruit labor
  • Special advice for employers and employees in border regions

The EURES portal for looking for and offering jobs is available in 25 official EU and EEA languages ​​and can be used free of charge by both job seekers and employers.
