EURES interalp

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

EURES interalp was an initiative of the European Union and the public employment services in Bavaria and Austria . The EURES interalp network promoted the cross-border mobility of Bavarian and Austrian workers. In the border regions, EURES advisers provided information on living and working conditions in the neighboring country.

The experts at EURES interalp advise professional cross-border commuters on issues to be considered in the neighboring country, for example differences in labor and social law as well as tax law. Inform the EURES advisers

  • Employees and job seekers who want to commute to the neighboring country
  • Students who are interested in an apprenticeship in a foreign country close to the border
  • Companies that want to recruit skilled workers and trainees in the neighboring country
  • Freelancers and start-ups in the border region

attitude

Cooperation between employment agencies and the social partners within the framework of EURES interalp was discontinued in May 2010. In place of the EURES partnership interalp the portal puts European pathway Atlas (EU Job Guide). The portal is a non-profit project of the employment offices and social partners in Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland. It informs and supports schoolchildren, apprentices and students in training or starting work abroad. The information portal provides advice on the recognition of degrees and qualifications acquired abroad. The portal is funded by the European Commission.
