Earl of Denbigh
Earl of Denbigh is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of England .
The Earls' family home is Newnham Paddox in Monks Kirby near Rugby in Warwickshire .
Awards and other titles
The title was first awarded on September 14, 1622 for William Feilding, 1st Viscount Feilding . Already on December 30, 1620 he had been awarded the titles Viscount Feilding and Baron Feilding , of Newnham Paddox in the County of Warwick .
The 2nd Earl was also awarded the title of Baron St. Liz in the Peerage of England on February 2, 1664 , with the special addition that the title could also be passed on to the male descendants of his father.
The later 3rd Earl inherited in 1666 from his father, George Feilding , a younger brother of the 2nd Earl, the title of Earl of Desmond awarded to him on October 28, 1628 , as well as the title Viscount Callan , of Callan , which was awarded to this on November 7, 1622 in the County of Kilkenny , and Baron Fielding , of Lecaghe in the County of Tipperary . All three titles belong to the Peerage of Ireland .
