"I live my art in a variable way, like spring, summer, autumn and winter, so I do not allow myself to be involved, neither linearly, thematically nor conceptually."

- Ada Mee : 2001

Her work reflects real conditions and an examination of our artificial environment, in which she also includes the painterly component. While working, she immerses herself in this world, showing a reality that is mixed up with emotions and appears like fragments of dreams. She paints, she photographs, she discovers and combines the visible and the presumed, both proximity and distance are brought together in the search for unity.

painting

With acrylic paints, watercolor paints, gouache, pencil, ink on wood, cardboard and various types of paper.

Lithographs

Stone prints - in the Sennefelder technique until 1999. Change in technique Aluminum printing plates, one aluminum plate for each color.

Staged photo art

Her photo art on canvas, she describes as application art - artistic transformation and / or modification of primary structures through painting and / or digital plots. She combines painting and her own photos, shapes and designs them on the computer, changes shapes again, changes colors, paints real, paints digitally until she can identify with her work.

Staged concept art

In their re-enactments, strong opposing worlds of thought collide, fantasies mixed with realities that often reveal a shocking reality.

Examples:

  1. The "miracle of Pujiang" touched many people deeply. When he was born in May 2013, the little Chinese boy slipped into a drainpipe on a standing toilet and was rescued by the fire brigade after long hours through a dramatic rescue operation from the 10cm-thick drainpipe.
  2. You can see bodies that have been beautifully treated and bodies that have been repaired with prostheses and artificial struts. You can no longer see other bodies. Epidemics like Ebola or multi-resistant germs force them into protective suits so that they do not have to pay for help for the sick with their own lives.
