Eberhard August von Gemmingen

Eberhard August von Gemmingen (* 1717 ; † 1758 ) was the Obervogt of Baden-Durlach in Durlach .

Eberhard August von Gemmingen was the son of the knight captain in the knightly canton of Odenwald and later General Director of the Imperial Knighthood , Reinhard von Gemmingen-Hornberg (1677–1750), and Maria Magdalena Amalia von Künsperg († 1744). After his father's death in 1750, he and his brother Reinhard (1710–1775) took over the fiefdom of their father on the castle fief in Kochendorf, which was only assigned in 1749 . In 1754 he married Christine Sophie von Gemmingen-Gemmingen (1735–1789), daughter of the former Durlacher Obervogts Franz Reinhard von Gemmingen (1692–1751). Eberhard August died in 1758 and had no descendants. His property fell to his brother.
