Eberhard Urban
Eberhard Urban (born June 20, 1942 in Oppeln , † June 18, 2019 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a trained bookseller, editor for art calendars and freelance journalist, author and exhibition organizer.
Urban initially worked as a bookseller in the Frankfurt "Bücherbörse", then a. a. in the March publishing house and finally in Brönner-Umschau. From the 1990s he was a freelance writer.
He published several books on art and culture as well as technology and history. The travel guides that he published together with his wife Kristiane Müller-Urban became particularly popular.
