Eberhard Winterhager

Eberhard Winterhager (born August 3, 1943 in Schwarza, Thuringia ) is a German journalist .

After graduating from high school, Eberhard Winterhager studied philosophy, sociology and public law at the Siegener Gymnasium Am Löhrtor . In 1974 he was awarded the philosophical dissertation “The problem of the individual. A contribution to the development history of Paul Natorp ”at the University of Bonn to the Dr. phil. PhD. From 1981 to 2007 he was editor-in-chief of the Siegener Zeitung ; his successor was Dieter Sobotka .

He has been married to Ulrike geb. Contactor; the marriage has two children.
