The Höchhand is a mountain ( 1314 m above sea level ) in the Tössbergland , in the Swiss canton of St. Gallen . It forms the northern end of the Goldinger Valley (municipality of Eschenbach SG ). Foothills in a west-southwest direction are Schwarzeberg ( 1293 m above sea level ), Guntliberg ( 1223 m above sea level ) and Chrineberg ( 1171 m above sea level ). At the western end of the chain is the Fründsberg castle . The Farneralp excursion inn is located between Guntliberg and Chrineberg, with a ski lift from Oberholz (860–1170 m above sea level). In the north-west lies the Tössstock ( 1153 m above sea level ), in the northeast the Habrütispitz ( 1274 m above sea level ). The closest higher peak is the Tweralpspitz ( 1331 m above sea level ).
