The Ebony Wall ( English for ebony wall ) is a dark and nearly vertical rock wall of 400  m height in the north of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . The 3 km long formation rises at the head end of the Pettus Glacier and forms part of the western terrain of the Detroit Plateau at the beginning of the Trinity Peninsula .

The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey mapped it in 1948 and gave it its descriptive name.
