The Bolivian sword plant ( Echinodorus bolivianus ) is a swamp plant from the family of the frog-spoon plants (Alismataceae). The natural range of this plant species is South America .
description
It is a small, runners- forming, perennial, herbaceous plant . The linear leaves grow out of a rosette. The upper side of the leaf is light green.
Aquaristics
Like most other species of the sword plant genus , the Bolivian sword plant is one of the popular aquarium plants . In the aquarium , this species thrives best at temperatures between 22 and 28 degrees Celsius. It is suitable as a front plant and can also be used in small aquariums.
