Really great, Mr. Cooper (original title: Hangin 'with Mr. Cooper ) is an American sitcom that aired on ABC from 1992 to 1997 . The main actor Mark Curry plays a disabled basketball professional who works as a high school teacher. The series consists of 101 episodes in five seasons. The first episodes of the German dubbed version were broadcast on ProSieben in September 1994 .

Jeff Franklin was the creator and executive producer of the series . It was shot really great, Mr. Cooper at the Warner Bros. studios in Burbank .

action

The single Mark Cooper had aspired to a career as a professional basketball player. Instead, he has to work in a high school first as a substitute teacher and later as a basketball coach. Cooper lives in a house with his childhood friend, the music teacher Robin, and the pretty Vanessa. From the second season Robin moves out, but Mark's cousin Geneva Lee and her daughter Nicole join the shared apartment. The neighbor boy Tyler becomes Nicole's best friend. Other main characters are the principal PJ Moore and Mark's student Earvin.

In the second episode, John Stamos , Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen had a guest appearance in their roles from the sitcom Full House, also created by Jeff Franklin .

The first episode of Hangin 'with Mr. Cooper aired on ABC on September 22, 1992 . In the first season, the show was broadcast on Tuesday evenings between Full House and Roseanne . For later seasons, the slot was changed to Friday and Saturday evenings. The last episode ran on August 30, 1997.

The first broadcast of the German dubbed version Echt super, Mr. Cooper initially extended over 42 episodes from September 1994 to November 1994 on ProSieben . Then Kabel Eins took over from September 1995 to December 1995 with 41 old and 24 new episodes. Until then sequels and the rest of the series then ran from November 1996 to July 1999 on DF1 Comedy & Co .
