Echte Meisjes (literally: "real girls") is a Dutch reality show format created by Eyeworks and which has so far aired three seasons with 28 episodes.
Overview
The first season ran from March 24 to May 26, 2011 on RTL 5 in the Netherlands as Echte Meisjes in de Jungle . A second season was broadcast from March 15 to May 17, 2012 in the Netherlands as Echte Meisjes Op Zoek Naar Zichzelf . The third season was broadcast from March 5 to April 23, 2013 under the title Echte Meisjes op de Prairie .
The international marketing of the format runs under the title Reality Queens of the Jungle .
The Reality Queens in the Jungle format was licensed by Pro Sieben and will be broadcast in Germany as Reality Queens on Safari from August 22, 2013 .

In the first season ten women traveled for four weeks through the jungles of Suriname , where they had to perform various tasks. The winner could win up to 50,000 euros. Quintis Ristie hosted the show and instructed the actresses. Britt Dekker won € 30,000. Second place was Leslie Keijzer.

Echte Meisjes Op Zoek Naar Zichzelf was the sequel to Echte Meisjes In De Jungle and was also broadcast on RTL 5 from March 15 to May 17, 2012. Britt Dekker, the winner of the first season, was supposed to defend her title against other participants from various reality shows. Real Meisjes Op Zoek Naar Zichzelf was filmed in Nepal and hosted by Ad Visser. Priscilla van der Meer won 27,500 euros. Roos van Gelder came in second.

Echte Meisjes op de Prairie was the third season of Echte Meisjes . It was broadcast on RTL 5 from March 5 to April 2013 and consisted of eight episodes. Real Meisjes op de Prairie played in Utah , USA and was hosted by Patty Brard . In contrast to the first seasons, not only women, but also five men took part.
Divided into two teams, the candidates competed against each other in a series of tasks each week to determine who lived in luxury and who lived in wildness. The winner could win up to 40,000 euros.
