John Pyper-Ferguson (born February 27, 1964 in Mordialloc , Victoria ) is an Australian actor .

Life

John Pyper-Ferguson attended the University of Alberta , where he received his bachelor's degree in acting . After making his television debut on the Australian television series Hamilton's Quest , he moved to Hollywood . In 1987 he got his first feature film role in the horror film Mary Lou . Supporting roles followed, including in Pin , A Bird on a Wire and Stay Tuned , but he was more successful as a busy television actor.

In addition to numerous guest appearances in US television series, he played one of the leading roles in the western series The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. Pyper-Ferguson had recurring guest roles as Top Dollar in The Crow - The Series , Sims in Jeremiah - Warriors of Thunder , Joseph "Joe" Whedon in Brothers & Sisters , Tomas Vergis in Caprica and Stanton Parish in Alphas . He had major film roles in the B-movies The Foreigner: Black Dawn alongside Steven Seagal and Born to Race alongside Joseph Cross . Since 2014 Pyper-Ferguson heard as Tex for supporting cast of end-time series The Last Ship . Since 2015 he can be seen in a supporting role in the series Suits .
