action

Roy Knable is a couch potato and always in front of the TV instead of taking care of his wife and children. His wife Helen destroys the television in a serious argument, when suddenly Mr. Spike appears at the front door and sells Roy a new television set with a satellite system that is able to receive 666 channels.

When watching television, Roy and Helen are sucked into the television program by the satellite dish. Mr. Spike reveals himself to be an employee of the devil . If both survive the next 24 hours, they are free; otherwise their souls belong to Satan. In the course of an odyssey through various television series and films, they always run the risk of being killed if they cannot quickly disappear from the scene or if the danger persists; they are always followed by Mr. Spike, who tries everything to sabotage them.

Roy and his wife manage to survive the 24 hours and Mr. Spike is punished for his failure. Roy decides to watch much less TV in the future.

A very special cameo was made with Jack of Hearts with two ladies , the sitcom series with which John Ritter became famous.
