action

The teenager Caydon is tormented by nightmares , and he suffers from inexplicable outbursts of anger, in which he has enormous powers. When he was sitting in the car with his girlfriend Lisa one evening and making out, he turned into a werewolf and injured Lisa, who was fleeing from him. Caydon later wakes up at home to find his parents' disfigured and torn corpses. When Lisa shows up with the police in front of the house, he flees and from then on wanders through the country, tormented by the fear of killing again. When Caydon meets the werewolf Wild Joe on his journey, who tells him that there are many werewolves and that most of them live in Lupine Ridge, he makes his way there.

In Lupine Ridge, Caydon meets John Tollerman - also a werewolf - from whom he learns that he is Tollerman's great-nephew and, in fact, the son of the werewolf Connor, who raped his mother Lucinda, also a werewolf. Lucinda kept the pregnancy a secret, gave Caydon up for adoption after he was born, and committed suicide a few days later. Connor lives with his pack of people, whom he has turned into werewolves through bites, in the forests around Lupine Ridge. Connor has agreed with the "pure-blooded" werewolves living in the village that he will leave them alone if in return the werewolf Angelina is willing to father a son with him. Caydon, who has fallen in love with Angelina, wants to prevent that.

Caydon can kill all the wolves in Connor's pack in a fight with the help of John. When he was the last to defeat Connor and is about to kill him, Wild Joe suddenly appears. He says that he was banished from Lupine Ridge by Connor years ago and that he decided to take revenge for it. He knew that Caydon was Connor's son and killed his adoptive parents so that Caydon could come to Lupine Ridge and fight Connor. Connor is killed by Joe, in the ensuing fight Caydon can kill Joe.

The next day, Caydon and Angelina leave Lupine Ridge.

reception

“The horror film combines genre clichés with a crude love story in order to primarily entertain a female target group. Unlike films like ' Twilight ', it contains significantly higher levels of blood. "

"Crude mix of psychodrama, teenage romance, Americana road movie and horror - without an original story, but with a will to form."
