The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. (Original title: The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. ) is a short-lived American television series from 1993-1994, which takes place in the Wild West and was combined with science fiction elements. Brisco County Jr., son of a famous marshal , is a Harvard graduate and former attorney who turned to bounty hunting . After his father is murdered by the 13-man gang of John Bly , Brisco goes on a chase. Under the guidance of the rabble-footed lawyer Socrates Poole , he roams the country with the bounty hunter Lord Bowler and hunts down his father's murderers.
During this trip, for example, he meets the brilliant inventor Professor Albert Wickwire and the saloon singer Dixie Cousins , who are always at his side. Furthermore, Brisco , Bly and others come across mysterious golden balls that are endowed with supernatural properties. Initially it is assumed that it is a sphere, but instead it turns out in the course of the series that three different spheres exist. These bullets give superhuman strength to Chinese slave laborers, they cast a spell over Big Smith and Brisco County sr. knew the secret of these spheres and with their help can return to earth as a spirit.
