MC Gainey (2010)

Mike Connor Gainey (born January 18, 1948 in Jackson , Mississippi ) is an American film and television actor. As a character actor, he is often cast as a criminal because of his mustache, which is worn in many roles, his 1.90 m tall stature and threatening facial expressions.

life and career

Since the early 1980s, Gainey has made over 50 appearances in cinema and television, for example in the action films Breakdown , Con Air (both 1997), Terminator 3 (2003), the comedy Sideways (2004), A Duke Seldom Comes Alone (2005 ) and in the television series Desperate Housewives (2006). In 1990 he starred in the short-lived series Against the Law and three years later he played the role of gangster Big Smith in the western series The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. . Since 2005 he has been part of the cast of the hit series Lost , in which he played a member of the others . In 2006 Gainey played the "Wizard" in the flick Apocalypse Oz , a surreal mixture of the films The Wizard of Oz and Apocalypse Now . In 2007 he appeared in the comedy Born to be Wild with John Travolta .

MC Gainey has been married to Kim Gainey since 2002.
