Kiss Me, John (Original Title: Hearts Afire ) is an American sitcom that was broadcast on CBS between 1992 and 1995 . The main roles were played by John Ritter and Markie Post . In Germany, the series was also under the title Who kisses Daddy? and state affairs broadcast.
action
John Hartman works in Washington, DC as an assistant to US Senator Strobe Smithers and is married to his press officer Georgie Ann Lahti. John and Georgie live in their apartment with Georgie's newly released father and former nanny, as well as John's two sons from his first marriage. In addition to the entanglements at home that this creates, the senator and his secretary, who is also his lover, keep the couple on their toes. In the second season of the series, the couple moves to a small town and runs their own newspaper there.

All three seasons of the series have been released on DVD in the USA. The original title is based on a line of text from the title That's The Way Of The World by the band Earth, Wind and Fire , which was also used as the title melody . Among the scriptwriters of the series also belonged to actor Thom Bray .
