Leslie Jordan (born April 29, 1955 in Chattanooga , Tennessee ) is an American actor .

Life

Jordan was born in Tennessee in 1955. After finishing school, he began training as an actor and moved to California in 1982. In his professional career he has appeared in various roles in film and television productions as well as guest appearances. Jordan is best known for his role in the television series Will & Grace . For this role he received the 2006 Emmy Award for best guest appearance in a comedy series . Jordan can also be seen in roles in the television series Superman - The Adventures of Lois & Clark , Star Trek: Spaceship Voyager , Reba , Boston Public , Boston Legal , Nash Bridges and Hearts Afire . In the television series Sordid Lives: The series he plays the role of Brother Boy . On the theater stage, Jordan is touring the United States with the comedy piece Like a Dog on Linoleum .

Jordan lives openly gay in California.
