Christian Clemenson

Christian Clemenson (born March 17, 1958 in Humboldt , Iowa ) is an American film and television actor .

Life

He graduated from Yale School of Drama in 1984 and began his acting career. He has repeatedly had leading and supporting roles in small, rather unknown films, guest appearances in series such as CSI: On the trail of the perpetrators , Buffy - The Vampire Slayer or Veronica Mars , but occasionally also supporting roles in more well-known films such as Armageddon or The Big Lebowski . He first became known to a broad audience through the successful US justice series Boston Legal , in which he played the somewhat strange lawyer Jerry Espenson, who is Asperger's autist . Since the second season he has had guest appearances, from the fourth season he is part of the regular cast of the series. He has a "sandpit friendship" with his Boston legal colleague James Spader . Both were in front of the camera together in 1990 in the film Todfreunde - Bad Influence . In February 2012 he was cast for Joe Johnston's thriller Not Safe for Work .
