action

Jim Longworth works as a detective with the Chicago Homicide Department . There he clashes with his superior who suggests he is having an affair with his wife. As a result, Jim finds a new job in Broward County , Florida, where he now works for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). According to his own statement, he chose the place because he “can work on his tan and his golf game” there. He assumes that there seems to be virtually no crime in this sleepy nest until he sees that there is a multitude of murders.

In addition to his work, he plays golf with the local forensic doctor Carlos Sanchez .
