The Rajabhat University Nakhon Ratchasima ( Thai มหาวิทยาลัย ราชภัฏ นครราชสีมา , in English Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University , short NRRU ) is a public university in the Rajabhat system of Thailand .
location
The campus is located in the district ( Amphoe ) Mueang Nakhon Ratchasima about 2 kilometers northeast of the city center of Nakhon Ratchasima. Nakhon Ratchasima is located in the northeast region of Thailand, the so-called Isan .
history
Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University was originally founded in 1913 as a teaching college / pedagogical school under the name "Krumoon Nonsung". The school was then gradually promoted to Nakhon Ratchasima Teacher College before becoming a university on June 15, 2004.
General
The university currently has around 15,000 students enrolled, with 431 academic staff and 218 akad. Auxiliaries and other employees. The president of the university is Mrs. Sauwanit Saunananda ( Thai ผ ศ. ดร. เศา ว นิต เศา ณา นนท์ อธิการบดี ).
Symbols
The university colors are: yellow and green, the university tree is the tube cassia Cassia fistula . The university's emblem consists of the colors: blue, green, gold and red, each color having its own meaning:
- The blue stands for the kingship and establishes the reference that the name Rajabhat Universities comes from the king.
- The green stands for the 40 locations of the Rajabhat universities and the exquisite natural environment.
- The gold means intellectual wealth .
- The red represents the local arts and cultural adornment of all Rajabhat University locations.
