The Rajabhat University Nakhon Pathom ( Thai มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏ นครปฐม , in English usage: Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, NPRU for short ) is a public university in the Rajabhat system of Thailand .

location

The university campus is located in the district ( Amphoe ) Nakhon Pathom in the province of the same name. Nakhon Pathom is located in central Thailand .

history

Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University was originally founded in 1936 as a "Teacher Training School" for girls. The school was then gradually promoted to the Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat Institute before receiving university status on June 15, 2004.

The president of the university is Somdej Ninlapan ( Thai ผู้ ช่วย ศาสตราจารย์ สม เดช นิล พันธุ์ ).
