The Rajabhat University of Chandrakasem ( Thai : มหาวิทยาลัย ราชภัฏ จันทร เกษม , RTGS : Mahawitthayalai Ratchaphat Chan Kasem, pronunciation: [ máhǎːwíttʰájaːlaj râːtt͡ɕʰápʰát t͡ɕan kàsěːm ] ; English Chandrakasem Rajabhat University ) is a Thai university in the Thai system . It is located in the district of Chan Kasem in the northern Bangkok district of Chatuchak .
history
The Chandrakasem Rajabhat University was established on September 9, 1940 College for Secondary School Teachers and began teaching in 1941.
In 1958, the offer was expanded to include teachers of secondary schools (colleges) and the facility moved to an area of around 14 hectares in Chatuchak . On February 14, 1992, all teachers 'colleges in the country were made Rajabhat institutes, including the Chandrakasem teachers' college.
On June 15, 2004, King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) upgraded all Rajabhat institutes to Rajabhat universities in a royal decree.
