The Nakhon Sawan Rajabhat University ( Thai มหาวิทยาลัย ราชภัฏ นครสวรรค์ , in English usage: Nakhon Sawan Rajabhat University ) is a public university in Rajabhat system of Thailand .
location
The campus is located in the district ( Amphoe ) Mueang Nakhon Sawan , about four kilometers southwest of the city center of Nakhon Sawan . Nakhon Sawan is located in the southern part of the northern region of Thailand, about 235 kilometers north of Bangkok .
history
The history of the university goes back to the "Primary Agricultural Teacher's Training School" founded in 1922. 1955 teachers can obtain the "Certificate of Education". In 1968 a two-year course with the aim of a Bachelor 's Degree in Education was offered, and since 1981 also as a four-year course. In 1992 the school was renamed “Rajabhat Institute Nakhon Sawan” and a bachelor's degree in “Education”, “Science” and “Arts” could be obtained. Since 1998 a master's degree in "Educational Administration" and a graduate diploma of education for teachers have been offered, in 1999 the master's degree in "Curriculum" and "Instruction", and since 2002 the master's degree in "Development Strategy".
In 2004 the institute was raised to university status by King Bhumibol Adulyadej and given the name "Nakhon Sawan Rajabhat University".
