The Thailand Graduate Institute of Science and Technology ( Thai สถาบัน บัณฑิต วิทยาศาสตร์ และ เทคโนโลยี ไทย , TGIST for short) is an educational and research institution in Bangkok , Ratchathewi District, affiliated with the National Science and Technology Development Agency of Thailand .

The Thailand Graduate Institute of Science and Technology is a "virtual institute" jointly maintained by the National Science and Technology Development Agency, the Ministry of University Affairs and various Thai universities and institutes, which works with international universities.

TGITS works as a forum in which numerous resources from universities and the National Science and Technology Development Agency are bundled in order to form a critical mass for the further development of national research and teaching. Participants are there

  • the National Science and Technology Development Agency as an intermediary
  • the public and private sectors as consumers of the content

  • the Center for Advanced Studies (CAS, Center for Advanced Studies)
  • the Graduate Research and Education Consortium (GREC, Consortium for Graduate Research and Education)
  • the School of Engineering Practice (SEP, School for Engineering Practice)
  • the School of Technology Management (STM, School for Technology Management)
  • the Thailand Training Network (TTN, Thailand Training Network)
  • the Science and Technology Electronic Publishing Program (STEP, program for electronic publication in research and technology)
