The Rajabhat Songkhla University ( Thai มหาวิทยาลัย ราชภัฏ สงขลา , in English usage Songkhla Rajabhat University , shortly skru ) is a public university in Rajabhat system of Thailand .

The campus is located in Mueang Songkhla County ( Amphoe ) . Songkhla is located in the southern region of Thailand.
history
Songkhla Rajabhat University was founded in 1919. University status was granted on June 15, 2004.
General
The university offers both bachelor and post-graduate courses. The president of the university is Phai Rot Duangwiset ( Thai ผ ศ. ดร. ไพโรจน์ ด้วง วิเศษ ).
Symbols
The university colors are red and white, the university flower is the ( Cassia nodosa ) the university tree is the ( Calophyllum inophyllum L. ). The university's emblem consists of the colors blue, green, gold, orange and white, with each color having its own meaning:
- The blue stands for the kingship and establishes the reference that the name Rajabhat Universities comes from the king.
- The green stands for the 40 locations of the Rajabhat universities and the exquisite natural environment.
- The gold means intellectual wealth .
- The orange stands for the local arts and cultural adornment of all Rajabhat University locations.
