Stamford International University
The Stamford International University Thailand ( Thai มหาวิทยาลัย นานาชาติ แส ต ม ฟ อ ร์ ด , International University Stamford, stiu) is a private international university in Thailand with an emphasis in business administration . The largest campus is in Cha Am near Hua Hin , Prachuap Khiri Khan Province , and another in the capital, Bangkok, 168 kilometers to the north .
history
Stamford College was founded in Singapore and Malaysia as early as 1950 . On November 29, 1995, Pongphan Sampawakoop founded Stamford International College in Thailand as a joint venture with Fareast Stamford International Co. Ltd. Initially, the courses were only offered in English, but later the university gradually introduced courses in Thai.
In 2000, Stamford International University signed an agreement with Schiller International University , Florida , USA , which gives students the opportunity to study at any of the universities that Schiller has set up worldwide, i.e. in Germany, England, France, Spain and Switzerland.
After some name changes, Stamford International University received accreditation as a university from the Thai Ministry of Education on May 26, 2004 .

There are three faculties and a graduate school:

- Faculty of Liberal Arts , with business communication and tourism management
- Faculty of Science and Technology , with Information Technology
- Stamford Graduate School

- Program for Business Administration ( MBA ), in English and Thai language
