Successful writer Sean Stein, who has been divorced twice, has concerns about starting a new relationship. During a party he met the painter Daisy Morgan, to whom he was tied up by the terrorists who attacked the event. Stein falls in love with the destitute Morgan, to whom he pretends to be less wealthy than in reality.
