Eckart Ranft

Eckart Ranft (born June 19, 1925 in Großdeuben , Saxony ; † July 5, 2015 in Bremen ) was a German lawyer and president of the Bremen Finance Court .

biography

After graduating from high school, Ranft studied law at the Philipps University of Marburg . He was reciprocated on November 28, 1950 in the Corps Hasso-Nassovia and distinguished himself as a senior . From 1972 to 1990 he was President of the Bremen Tax Court. He was followed by Hans-Jürgen Ziemann in office. Ranft was married and had several children. He belonged to the parish of St. Remberti (Bremen) in Schwachhausen . He was Vice President 1971–1976 and President of the Church Committee of the Bremen Evangelical Church (BEK) from 1977–1988 .
