Eckhard Düwiger

Eckhard Düwiger (born February 1, 1947 in Gadderbaum - Bethel , today Bielefeld ) is a German football teacher. In his main occupation he was a certified teacher for sports and history.

Life

Eckhard Düwiger started playing football for a club when he was six . In his youth he played for the Lokomotive Stralsund club. In 1966, Düwiger moved to the second division Motor Stralsund . During his one and a half year army service, he played for ASK Vorwärts Berlin . Due to health problems, he had to end his playing career in 1970.
After successfully completing his studies at the Ernst Moritz Arndt University of Greifswald , Eckhard Düwiger began his coaching career in 1972. In the 1980s, in addition to his work as a trainer, he was an instructor and examiner for levels 3 and 4. For many years he has been an assistant coach at NOFV and from 2006 he has been a DFB observer for the youth national teams. Düwiger is married and has three children.
