Eckhard Rau

Eckhard Rau (born July 15, 1938 in Hamburg ; † October 4, 2011 in Marburg ) was a German Protestant theologian .

Life

After receiving his doctorate in 1974 as Dr. theol. in Hamburg and his habilitation there in 1979, he taught from 1983 to 2001 as a professor at the University of Hamburg .
