Eckhard Rohrmann

Eckhard Rohrmann (born June 16, 1956 in Bielefeld ) is a German educational scientist .

Life

From 1977 to 1982 he studied education, sociology, psychology and evangelical theology at the University of Dortmund . There he received his doctorate in 1987 with a dissertation on social reactions to poverty and homelessness and their significance for the emergence and maintenance of "sedentariness". From 1978 to 1992 Rohrmann was part-time, since 1983 full-time in the homeless assistance, in outpatient services for the handicapped and as a consultant for training and further education at the LV Hessen of the Lebenshilfe für mentally handicapped e. V. active. From 1990 to 1992 he was visiting lecturer at the University of Education in Halle. From 1992 to 1995 he was professor for curative and special education at the EvH RWL . Since August 1995 he has been Professor of Inclusion and Exclusion at the Institute for Educational Science in the field of social and rehabilitation education at the Philipps University of Marburg .

Rohrmann worked, among other things, on research projects on the misplacement of disabled people in old people's homes, myths and realities of being different as well as the life and work of Édouard Séguin .
