Lennart Kroha (born November 6, 1997 ) is a German beach volleyball player .

Career

Kroha came to volleyball through his older brother Felix, who played in the second Bundesliga . At the age of ten, he began his career in the hall at TV Fürth 1860 while playing football . He then moved to the then regional league promoted TSV 1861 Zirndorf as an outside attacker .

With his teammate from Zirndorf, Tino Zepeck , he formed a duo in the sand. Kroha / Zepeck participated in various junior tournaments from 2012 to 2016. In 2014 they won the German U18 championship. In 2016 they became German runner-up in the U20. Kroha has formed a duo with Harry Schlegel since 2017 . That year they competed three times in the qualification of the Smart Beach Tour . On the Techniker Beach Tour 2018 in Düsseldorf they made it into the main field for the first time and finished in 13th place. They achieved the same result at the tournaments in Leipzig and Zinnowitz . On the Techniker Beach Tour 2019 , Kroha performed with Filip John in Düsseldorf and also came in 13th. With Schlegel he was ninth in Sankt Peter-Ording and thirteenth in Zinnowitz. In between he came in 13th place with Benedikt Doranth in Fehmarn. In March 2020 Kroha took part in the German championship in snow volleyball with Yannic Beck , Benjamin Lorentz and Florian Schweikart and finished fourth. After being eliminated in the group phase of the first tournament of the Comdirect Beach Tour 2020 , Kroha / Schlegel qualified for the German beach volleyball championship in September at the second tournament in early August .
