Harry Schlegel (born August 21, 1988 ) is a German beach volleyball player .
Career
Schlegel played his first tournaments from 2012 with Yannic Beck . In 2013 Beck / Schlegel came into the main field for the first time at the Smart Beach Tour in Cologne and came in 13th. In Kühlungsborn they came in ninth. In 2014 they reached 13th place in Cologne and ninth place in Nuremberg . In 2015 Schlegel played with changing partners and in 2016 some smaller tournaments with Maximilian Hauser .
Since 2017 he has formed a duo with Lennart Kroha . That year they competed three times in the qualification of the Smart Beach Tour. On the Techniker Beach Tour 2018 in Düsseldorf they made it into the main field for the first time and finished in 13th place. They achieved the same result at the tournaments in Leipzig and Zinnowitz . Schlegel played with Benedikt Doranth on the Techniker Beach Tour 2019 in Düsseldorf and came in 13th place. Kroha / Schlegel came ninth in Sankt Peter-Ording and thirteenth in Zinnowitz. After being eliminated in the group phase of the first tournament of the Comdirect Beach Tour 2020 , Kroha / Schlegel qualified for the German beach volleyball championship in September at the second tournament in early August .
In the hall, Schlegel is active in the second team of SV Schwaig , which plays in the Regionalliga Süd-Ost.
