Ed Sol

Ed Sol, real name Johan Willem Eduard Sol (born June 10, 1881 in Ciomas near ( Bogor ), † October 21, 1965 in The Hague ), was a Dutch football player .

He played three international games for the Dutch national football team , all of them at the 1908 Olympic Games in London. Ed Sol played in what was then known as the position of the right winger , which today corresponds to a midfielder. In his home country he was active for HVV Den Haag .
