Edwin "Eddie" Parker (born December 12, 1900 in Minnesota , † January 20, 1960 in Sherman Oaks , California ) was an American stuntman and actor . Parker starred in more than 270 films.

Parker played as a supporting and small actor in many classics, mostly in western and horror films for the production companies Republic Pictures and Universal Pictures . His first film appearance was in the short film First in War . This was followed by many appearances in famous film classics. Some of the most significant films he starred in were The Man in the Death Mask , The Window to the Courtyard (by Alfred Hitchcock ), Tarantula , Robots of Horror, and The Horror Creeps Through the Night .

Parker has also acted as a stunt man in over 200 films. So he doubled among others Lewis Wilson in the television series Batman . He died on January 20, 1960 at the age of 59 of a heart attack in the US state of California.
